[Rome] A boutique hotel I fell in love with

This is my first time in Italy and I am so excited to see rich culture, amazing architects and sculptures, and eat all the great Italian food. If you are the first timer to Italy like me, this post might be helpful. I spent 3 days in Rome and just strolling around the city without any strict schedule and I love it. All of the attractions are not too far from each other and you can just walk from one place to the other. If you love city walking, this is a perfect place to do so. Without having this post too long, I am going to focus on the hotel I stayed in this trip on this post and talk about other favorite memories/places in other posts.

Recommended Hotel: Fifteen Keys Hotel

Things I like:

  • Very friendly and attentive staffs. From the front desk to the breakfast area’s staff. very approachable and nice.
  • Super clean. No explanation needed here I think.
  • Location. It is located in Monti district which is a very cool area with shops and aso very close to the Roma Termini station. If you need a place in Rome that is not too far from the Roma Termini station in case you want to travel by train to other parts of Italy. This is a good place. It is only 15 mins walk from Roma Termini.
  • Great breakfast offering for boutique hotels. The breakfast is cooked by one of the staffs all by herself which makes me feel really homey. They also have various choices from homemade granola, 3 kinds of cooked eggs, bacon, home-baked pastries.
  • Has room/price for 1 person. The nice thing here is that I can choose a room or 1 person and pay for the price of 1 person. I paid about 160EUR per night.
  • Free tea/drinks/snacks during 5-6pm. Again, another offer that makes this hotel so homey. You can have free afternoon tea here. 🙂

All in all, it is a good value for hotels in Rome during this high season. Just one caveat here. There were 1-2 homeless persons near the hotel area. I think as long as you stay away, it should be fine. Otherwise, everything in the hotel is GREAT!

Check this hotel out next time you travel to Rome 🙂
